“One of the most widespread superstitions is that every man has his own special, definite qualities; that a man is kind, cruel, wise, stupid, energetic, apathetic, etc. Men are not like that . . . Men are like rivers; the water is the same in each, and alike in all; but every river is narrow here, is more rapid there, here slower, there broader, now clear, now cold, now dull, now warm. It is the same with men. Every man carries in himself the germs of every human quality and sometimes one manifests itself, sometimes another, and the man often becomes unlike himself—while still remaining the same man.” ― Leo Tolstoy
Yes every man is different. Everybody has his own needs and wishes. But what I believe is that there are no good or bad people, there are only good and bad actions! So today, I decided not to publish a new article about India, but to inspire you to do good actions!
Yesterday 8th of September was my 22nd birthday.
Two years ago, I laid the foundations for hopefully a long-term tradition. On the eve of my birthday I was in India away from my family and love ones because I have been involved in charity activities with underprivileged children there. So I sent letters to all of my best friends, with the only gift I requested and wanted from them-Everyone to do something nice and good to someone else.
Last year, after my work in Bulgaria with children with autism and cerebral palsy I resumed the tradition and asked for the same.
Tonight, shortly after my return from Africa, where I did voluntary work, I would kindly ask everyone of you for the same gift-this week help someone in any possible way.
There is only one condition – you must not use money directly for the gift, but it need to springs straight from your heart. Donate food, clothing, plant a tree, help an old lady with her shopping bags on the way of her home, take care of any stray animal, talk to someone who needs it.
Be happy – do good, feed your humanity! Thank you in advance for your gifts!
I hope this will inspire more people, as well as it inspired my friends and me!
Next week I’ve prepared a gorgeous article about my birthday celebration in India. A day full of surprises, love and happiness! Day that I will never forget! And you, my dear readers, don’t forget to read the article next Monday!
Now move, chase your dreams and this week help someone’s dreams to become true!
With all my love from Italy,
